Privacy at GlobalLingo

GlobalLingo is built around practice: lessons, conversations, and feedback that help you speak with confidence. This page explains what information the service uses to provide that experience and the choices available to you.

Last updated:

Account and profile information

When you create an account, we use the information you provide, such as your email address and authentication details, to create and secure your account. Your profile may also include a display name, avatar, study focus, and language preferences.

We use this information to sign you in, personalize the learning experience, maintain your progress, and communicate about account or service matters.

Learning and tutor content

GlobalLingo processes learning activity such as lessons completed, language progress, streaks, practice choices, pronunciation or writing feedback, and conversations with the AI tutor. Practice transcripts and related activity help the product continue a session and show you useful progress views.

Please avoid submitting sensitive information that is not needed for a language-learning exercise. You are responsible for the information you choose to include in your own prompts and practice content.

Support and contact messages

If you contact support through the Help Center form or by email, we use the message and the contact details you provide to investigate the request, reply, and maintain a practical support history. Support messages are not used as a public directory or published as testimonials without a separate process.

Payments and subscription status

Paid plans use the connected payment checkout provided for GlobalLingo. The app receives the subscription and payment status needed to provide the plan you selected; payment details are handled by the payment provider rather than entered into the learning pages themselves.

GlobalLingo stores the account and entitlement information needed to recognize Free, Pro, Elite, or a Teams arrangement. For a payment-specific question, contact support and include the account email used at checkout.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

The service may use cookies required for authentication, locale selection, referrals, and other product behavior. The browser may also store a theme preference or temporary practice state so the interface works as expected.

When the deploy has analytics enabled, GlobalLingo’s first-party page-view beacon can store a random visitor identifier in browser local storage and send a page-view event. Blocking storage, the beacon, or network requests may prevent that measurement without preventing core learning features.

Retention and deletion requests

We keep account, progress, and tutor content while it is needed to provide the service and keep your learning history available. Retention can vary by the type of record, account status, support needs, and payment or security obligations.

To ask about deleting an account or specific content, email support from the address associated with the account. We will verify the request and explain what can be removed and whether any record must be retained for a legitimate operational, security, or financial reason.

Security

GlobalLingo uses access controls, authenticated sessions, and service-level safeguards appropriate to the product. No internet service can promise absolute security, so protect your password and contact us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.

Children

GlobalLingo is a general language-learning service and is not intentionally directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact support so we can review the situation.

Changes and contact

We may update this page when the product, data practices, or legal requirements change. The last-updated date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you have had an opportunity to review the revised information.

Questions about privacy can be sent to globallingo@polsia.app. Please do not include a password or payment-card number in an email.
